There’s no shortage of fun and festivities at the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Mark your calendar for these annual events.

1 .Mississippi Gulf Coast Multicultural Festival

Celebrate diversity in this colorful event. A unique blend of different cultures is on full display at the festival, with food, art, and live performance by local artists to keep you entertained. Sample cuisines from around the world, and check out the booths that sell one-of-a-kind goods.

Now in its second year, the festival is organized by the Mississippi Gulf Coast Multicultural Heritage and Legacy Festival Committee.

2. Mississippi Gulf Coast Blues & Heritage Festival

This rain or shine event brings you the best blues musicians in the region. Valerie McKnight, Andre Lee, and Carl Sims are just some of the artists who have headlined the event. Watch live performances and enjoy delicious food at the festival. It’s a great opportunity to discover local talent and sample local dishes.

3. Biloxi Seafood Festival

Feast on seafood at this festival, where live entertainment, kid’s activities, and arts and crafts will give you a weekend you won’t forget. The event also features the Sun Herald Gumbo Championship, where attendees can taste gumbo made by amateur and professional teams competing for awards. As the Biloxi Chamber of Commerce’s most anticipated fundraising event, it celebrates the city’s rich seafood heritage.

4. Downtown Biloxi Farmers Market Festival

Buy fresh produce and homemade goods at this festival. Enjoy live entertainment and various events like book signings. Snack on grilled hotdogs and burgers, learn about recycling, and watch gardening demonstrations. Get the chance to win plants, cookbooks, and artisanal goods through hourly giveaways.

5. Gulf Coast Oyster Cook-Off & Festival

This well-attended festival brings some of the finest Gulf Coast restaurants together for an oyster cook-off. Enjoy fantastic seafood dishes and listen to live musical performances. Brennan Roybal, Radio Mojo, and Travis Clark Band are just some of the artists who have played the event. The festival also includes the Open Car, Jeep & Bike Show, making it perfect for automobile enthusiasts.

6. Holy Family Seafood Festival

The Holy Family Catholic Church’s annual fundraiser brings you amazing food, fun rides, and arts and crafts. The festival also includes a 5k and one-mile run, so put on your running shoes and get ready to race ahead of the competition. Bring the whole family for an action-filled weekend. Admission is free.

7. Cruisin’ the Coast

Cruisin’ the Coast is billed as “America’s Largest Block Party” and for good reason – more than 7,000 car owners join this event to celebrate antique and classic automobiles. Car enthusiasts from all over the U.S. and Canada come to this event to show off their cars and cruise along the Gulf Coast’s scenic beachside highway. It also features drag racing, car auctions, and live entertainment.

8. Spark at the Park

This Fourth of July celebration includes fireworks, water slides, live concerts, and other fun activities. But the highlight of the event is the demolition derby, where drivers fight to be the last man standing. Watch the derby, cheer for your favorite driver, and eat all the crawfish you can handle at Muddy Joe’s.
